He still has his iconic green suit underneath, which ties the elements and adds a bit more usage to it. We also have the updated look at Green Goblin, as Willem Dafoe drops the mask for the iconic purple scarf, but just in the form of a ripped-up sweater. His design has mainly remained the same, especially as Marvel Studios used their de-aging technology to make you believe that they are continuing their journey from the moment they were about to die.
Let’s start off with the first confirmed return, which was Alfred Molina‘s Doctor Octopus. Luckily, it seems that artwork has found its way online showcasing the details behind these new takes on familiar faces. Marvel Studios and Sony have given these familiar faces a new look to highlight the meeting of old and new. Villains from the previous Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man franchises make a grand return, but with a twist. It builds upon the previous two film entries and continues the journey of Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker, while also paying tribute to what came before.

Thank you so much for all the love towards this squishy guy and I hope you enjoy the Free pattern below.
The pattern takes about 3 hours or so to complete, and is written for two sizes! So if you aren’t feeling up to the full size, you can create the “Mini”! This little guy is able to turn inside-out so that it can show its two different expressions! Happy, sad, mad, confused, disgusted… I can’t wait to see your creativity! I suggest making the faces opposite, but it is up to you! This pattern is one that I find very fun and easy, as well as beginner friendly.
After sharing a video of it on my Tik Tok and the response, I wanted to write up the pattern so that others could recreate this cute little squishy! This one came quick and I ended up doing the whole project within a couple days. I don’t believe people need to always “stay in their lane” when creating, and that you should always be open to new projects and ideas especially when inspired. I have always wanted to try a pillow design or something like it, but haven’t felt inspired or motivated. I enjoy the feel of soft textures, squishy fabrics, and things that can offer me comfort while sleeping or relaxing on the couch. I found coping mechanisms with stuffed animals and small spaces as a child, some of these things I have carried into my adulthood. However, I wanted to make mine more like a pillow and after going to Michael’s and seeing the new Bernat Velvet Plus it just felt so right to make this little guy out of it. I made this little guy on a whim after seeing similar stuffed toys on a Pisces meme and after doing a bit of digging, I found out they are being sold on Amazon.
The perfect hug you can get to match your mood.Ĭlick here to get the printable PDF of the “Emotional Octopus”
